Lyndel Gray moves on to new role

Ms Gray held the role of Executive Director & General Manager at Tourism NSW from 2008 and Executive Director - Tourism when Destination NSW was formed on 1 July 2011.

Prior to joining Tourism NSW, Ms Gray was Executive General Manager Western Hemisphere for Tourism Australia. She previously ran Tourism Australia’s operations in North America for seven years.

Ms Chipchase said Lyndel Gray had done an outstanding job in promoting New South Wales to the world.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for Lyndel. She has done an outstanding job for NSW tourism and her legacy and excellent industry partnerships give Destination NSW a distinct advantage as we transition to our next phase of development,” Ms Chipchase said.

“Of course we will still be working very closely with Lyndel in her new role at CCIA NSW and I’m sure the entire NSW Tourism industry will join with me in wishing her every future success - they are very lucky to have her.”

Lyndel’s last day at Destination NSW will be 6 July.
