Doctor Who stops in Sydney for 50th Anniversary this Saturday

The 50th Anniversary of the world's most iconic space traveller, Doctor Who, will be celebrated by legions of costumed fans and festivalgoers tomorrow (Saturday June 1) for one night only, when a special 3D-mapped projection of the legendary BBC television program screens on the grand façade of Customs House at Circular Quay, as part of this year's Vivid Sydney.

More than 100,000 LEDs were ablaze in a kaleidoscope of colour on the Sydney Harbour Bridge tonight as the NSW Deputy Premier and Minister for Trade and Investment, Andrew Stoner, previewed the iconic structure's highly anticipated interactive light installation, a new spectacular addition to this year's Vivid Sydney, ahead of the festival's opening night on Friday 24 May.
